The venue is easy to get to and just few minutes walk from the U9 Turmstraße Station (South end exit ) or S-Bahn Bellevue Station.

TaBar Bar and Restaurant is a great little place in Alt Moabit that is supportive of live music, comedy and karaoke. The kitchen offers amazing Greek snacks and dishes at reasonable prices.
Stage is small and limited to 2-3 people.
All genres are welcome including spoked word. Original music is strongly encouraged since the set list will be submitted to GEMA for registered works.
Sign-Up starts at 19:30 with music starting at 20:00. Each performer(s) will get up to 12 minutes including their set-up time. There will be no set order with names drawn at random from the first 9 sign-ups who will have a slot with live sound support as time allows ( thus the strict 12 minutes ). Sadly we need to go “acoustic only” at 22:00 due to the neighbours!
This night has full live sound support including mics and 1/4” instrument inputs ( Guitars (electric, electro-acoustic, bass), keys/pads, synths as well as a 1/8”/ 3.5mm and 1/4″ TRS jacks in for computers or phone’s wth backing tracks or a performance application ( e.g. Ableton ).
In Regards to Backing Tracks: If you have backing tracks on a device ( phone or laptop ) we will be able to connect with a 1/8”/ 3.5mm TRS cable ( see pic below )
If your your device needs any kind of adapter to 1/8” /3.5mm you will need to bring it with you. We will have adapters for iPhone Lightning and USB C and a USB C adapter for non-Apple phones BUT there is no way to know if they will wok for your device. There will be no support for BlueTooth ot USB sticks.
There will be a house guitar, a Roland 61 key electric piano and a keyboard stand available.
Note due to the neighbours sorry NO horns/brass instruments or acoustic symbols or drums. Cajon’s are ok but it will not be mic’ed.
We want a night of music and not a stage tech show so make sure you are ready if you have pedals or devices, setup time will be part of your allocated 12 minutes. If you take 10 minutes to set up you will only get 2 minutes to perform.
Performers will get a draft beer or glass of wine as thanks!

Die TaBar Bar und Restaurant ist ein tolles kleines Lokal in Alt Moabit, das Live-Musik, Comedy und Karaoke anbietet. Die Küche bietet fantastische griechische Snacks und Gerichte zu vernünftigen Preisen.
Die Bühne ist klein und auf 2-3 Personen begrenzt.
Alle Genres sind willkommen, auch Spoken Word. Originalmusik ist ausdrücklich erwünscht, da die Setlist bei der GEMA zur Anmeldung von Werken eingereicht wird.
Die Anmeldung beginnt um 19:30 Uhr, die Musik startet um 20:00 Uhr. Jeder Künstler hat bis zu 12 Minuten Zeit, einschließlich seiner Aufbauzeit. Es wird keine Reihenfolge geben, die ersten 9 Anmeldungen werden zufällig ausgelost und erhalten einen Platz mit Live-Sound-Unterstützung, wenn es die Zeit erlaubt (daher die 12 Minuten). Leider müssen wir um 22:00 Uhr wegen der Nachbarn auf „nur akustisch“ umstellen!
Diese Nacht hat volle Live-Sound-Unterstützung, einschließlich Mikrofonen und 1/4″-Instrumenteneingängen (Gitarren (elektrisch, elektroakustisch, Bass), Tasten/Pads, Synthesizer sowie 1/8″/ 3,5 mm und 1/4″ TRS-Buchsen für Computer oder Telefone mit Backing-Tracks oder eine Performance-Anwendung (z.B. Ableton).
In Bezug auf Backing-Tracks: Wenn Sie Backing-Tracks auf einem Gerät (Telefon oder Laptop) haben, können wir eine Verbindung mit einem 1/8″/3,5-mm-TRS-Kabel herstellen (siehe Bild unten)
Wenn Ihr Gerät irgendeine Art von Adapter auf 1/8″ /3,5 mm benötigt, müssen Sie ihn mitbringen. Wir werden Adapter für iPhone Lightning und USB C und einen USB C-Adapter für Nicht-Apple-Telefone haben, ABER es gibt keine Möglichkeit zu wissen, ob sie für Ihr Gerät geeignet sind. BlueTooth oder USB-Sticks werden nicht unterstützt.
Es wird eine Hausgitarre, ein Roland 61-Tasten-E-Klavier und ein Keyboard-Ständer zur Verfügung stehen.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass wegen der Nachbarn keine Hörner/Blechblasinstrumente oder akustische Symbole oder Schlagzeuge mitgebracht werden dürfen. Cajons sind ok, aber es wird keine Mikrofone geben.
Wir wollen einen Abend voller Musik und keine Show mit Bühnentechnik, also stellt sicher, dass ihr bereit seid, wenn ihr Pedale oder Geräte habt. Die Aufbauzeit ist Teil der euch zugewiesenen 12 Minuten. Wenn ihr 10 Minuten für den Aufbau braucht, habt ihr nur 2 Minuten Zeit für euren Auftritt.
Als Dankeschön erhalten die Künstler ein Bier vom Fass oder ein Glas Wein!
Der Veranstaltungsort ist leicht zu erreichen und nur wenige Gehminuten von der U9-Station Turmstraße (Ausgang Südende) oder der S-Bahn-Station Bellevue entfernt.
