New Video Out: In the Shadow of the Valley of Death

Released by Deus Ex Lumina a project I am Working With

Hello Friends and Fans,

The video for (a cover of Marilyn Manson’s) “In the Shadow of the Valley of Death” was released on YouTube today at 1:00 p.m. (CET)! This is Deus Ex Lumina’s first video to be released that states: “The mystery has been revealed!  Here we are in the flesh and we are dark.”. I really enjoyed working on the video because we are on the same wave-length when it comes to the style and feel for DEL.   The concept and look for the video were easily agreed upon which made it easy for Don MacTavish to be behind the camera directing the shoot.  Don really enjoyed the editing process and applying the post-production effects to enhance the overall feel for the video (Don also remixed and remastered the track specifically for the video’s release). I really hope you all enjoy this video and future releases from DEL.

New Collaboration with Deus Ex Lumina and a New Release

Hello Friends and Fans,

I have been extremely busy in the city of Berlin. A few months ago I began working with the dark wave band extraordinaire Deus Ex Lumina.  I have to say working with DEL has been amazing.  I had the pleasure of contributing ethereal backing vocals and a heavy/gothic guitar riff on their latest release (a cover of Marilyn Manson’s) “In the Valley of the Shadow of Death”.  The combination of his dark vocals, layers of synths and my ethereal backing vocals gave this track a haunting sound. For the release there is a fantastic video:

2017 Matthew Presidente releases “Leather and Love” featuring Tara C Taylor on his studio album titled “Every Single Sin”. It is the story of the time Matthew and Tara went to San Francisco’s Folsom Street Fair

2018 Matthew Presidente visits Tara C Taylor in Berlin, Germany… We started out at the Folsom Street Fair and now we are in Berlin…

2022 Tara C Taylor releases her single “Leather and Love in Berlin” featuring Matthew Presidente.

New Single Released: Love Machine

I am happy to announce the release of my latest “studio” single:  Love Machine! For those who know me this is one of my original acoustic songs and here it is with my new electronic dance sound.  I had a lot of fun working with my dear friend Matthew Presidente of Vancouver and he provided synth pads as well as the backing vocals. During the 2020 “lockdown” we did a video of the song for his youtube World is Watching Series  and you can watch it here on YouTube.
